Mocén Fermentado en Barrica - White Wine

Mocén Fermentado en Barrica - White Wine is an aged white wine from the Rueda DO, produced by Mocén exclusively from the Verdejo grape variety. The fermentation of the must begins in new French and American oak barrels, with daily monitoring of the fermentation and periodic lees stirring for 5 months, a process that contributes to its enveloping texture and overall complexity.

In the glass, it presents a lemon-yellow color with slight greenish reflections. The aroma highlights varietal notes of honey, almonds, hints of anise, and reminiscences of tropical fruit, in harmony with nuances of toasted wood. On the palate, it stands out for its unctuousness, structure, and body, finishing with a broad aftertaste that evokes memories of Verdejo.

It should be served between 9 and 11 ºC. It is a versatile choice at the table, pairing well with appetizers, rice dishes, white meats, fish, and grilled vegetables.
