Vallado Vinha da Granja - Red Wine

Vallado Vinha da Granja - Red Wine is a single-plot wine from Quinta do Vallado, produced in the Porto and Douro region from very old vines, around 100 years old. This vineyard brings together a field blend of 34 different local grape varieties, uniquely reflecting the Douro winemaking tradition and the natural complexity of an old plantation. The very specific origin of the grapes gives it identity, depth and a profile marked by authenticity.

In the winery, the grapes ferment for about 10 days in large oak barrels, with temperature control and automatic pump-over, in a process designed to preserve the purity of the fruit and promote balanced extraction. The result is a full-bodied red wine with firm, velvety tannins, a solid structure, and excellent presence on the palate.

In its aromatic and gustatory profile, mineral notes stand out, accompanied by a serious and sophisticated ensemble that extends into a complex, persistent, and very elegant finish.
