Vallado Vinha da Coroa - Red Wine

Vallado Vinha da Coroa - Red Wine is a wine from Quinta do Vallado, in the Porto and Douro region, made from grapes from a very unique century-old vineyard, where 34 different grape varieties coexist. The Vinha da Coroa vineyard, which gives the wine its name, is located at one of the highest points of the property, dominating the other vineyards and benefiting from a location of great character.

In the winery, fermentation takes place over 14 days in stainless steel tanks, with 50% of the stems remaining intact and without any crushing. This approach contributes to a distinct and expressive profile, marked by the freshness and purity of the fruit. On the nose and palate, notes of spices, red fruits and an elegant vegetal note stand out, adding complexity to the whole.

The finish is persistent and balanced, revealing the unique identity of this old vineyard and the careful interpretation of Quinta do Vallado. A Douro red wine with a strong personality, combining tradition, altitude and a diversity of grape varieties in an authentic and original expression.
