Description | José Pariente Verdejo Magnum - White Wine
José Pariente Verdejo Magnum - White Wine is a benchmark white wine from the Rueda region, produced by Bodegas José Pariente exclusively from the Verdejo grape variety. Considered one of the house's emblematic wines, it expresses the character of this native variety in a fresh and elegant way, combining vivacity, balance and a very distinctive identity.
It presents a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals itself as elegant, fresh, and complex, highlighting aromas of white fruit and citrus, accompanied by notes of fennel and undergrowth, over a balsamic background and a subtle mineral hint. On the palate, the notes of fresh fruit reappear, in an unctuous, luscious, and elegant ensemble, with a gentle bitter touch at the finish. It has good structure, persistence, and a complex and intense retronasal sensation.
This single-varietal wine is made from grapes sourced from family vineyards and old vines belonging to small winegrowers. After harvesting, the musts ferment in stainless steel, concrete, and wooden vats, then remain on the lees for 4 months. The final blend gives it uniqueness and differentiation, reinforcing its complexity and captivating profile.
It is recommended to serve it at 8ºC. It is an excellent choice for appetizers and to accompany fish, seafood, pasta, rice dishes and white meats, as well as smoked meats, mild cheeses and sausages.
