Jesus Madrazo Numero IV - Red Wine

Jesús Madrazo Numero IV - Red Wine is a signature red wine from Jesús Madrazo, produced in Rioja Alavesa and part of his personal project. This vintage stands out for its composition of 70% Tempranillo, 14% Graciano, 6% Garnacha and 10% Merlot, a choice that helps to soften the tannins and reinforce the overall balance. Malolactic fermentation took place partially in barrels (70%) and partially in stainless steel tanks (30%) for 15 days, followed by 14 months of aging in American and French oak, in equal proportions.

In the glass, it presents a dark cherry color, almost speckled, with a violet rim. The aromatic profile is intense and expressive, with notes of ripe red and black fruits, wildflowers, smoky hints, and a well-defined mineral side. On the palate, it reveals itself to be very balanced and round, with lively yet noble tannins, good aromatic persistence, and a long finish. It is a delicate yet powerful wine, with structure, harmony, and aging potential. It is recommended to serve it at 18ºC.
