Antonio Saramago - Red Wine

António Saramago - Red Wine is a red wine from the Setúbal Peninsula that expresses the character of one of the region's most emblematic grape varieties, Castelão. Produced by António Saramago, it presents itself as a faithful offering to the traditional style of Setúbal red wines, valuing varietal identity and connection to the territory. In the glass, it reveals an intense and captivating ruby color, which anticipates a wine profile of good presence.

On the nose, notes of red fruit stand out, lending freshness and appeal to the whole. On the palate, it shows round tannins, a dense body and a balanced structure, finishing with a persistent and pronounced finish. It is a gastronomic and versatile wine that can accompany different moments at the table, combining particularly well with grilled meats, fish and soft or aged cheeses.

For a more pronounced tasting experience, it is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 ºC. To preserve its qualities, it should be stored in a cellar or wine cellar, ideally at around 12 ºC and with humidity around 60%.
