Description | Albariño Finca Arantei - White Wine
Albariño Finca Arantei - White Wine, from Bodega La Val, is a single-varietal wine made from the Albariño grape variety originating from the Rías Baixas region. It is born from a manual selection of the best grapes from Finca Arantei, a vineyard planted in 1989 in a terroir of mineral and fertile soil. In the winery, the grapes undergo cold maceration for 6 hours, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts from the vineyard itself, at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine ages for 6 months on fine lees, gaining greater complexity and texture.
In the glass, it appears clean and bright, with yellow and greenish reflections. The aroma is complex and harmonious, combining mineral, fruity, and floral notes, enveloped by fresh herbs and citrus hints. On the palate, it reveals intensity and fruit, supported by well-integrated acidity, rounded by the creaminess of aging on lees. The finish is long, persistent, and marked by a very appealing freshness.
It should be served at 12ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany seafood and more elaborate fish dishes, and also pairs very well with fresh cheeses, foie gras, white meats, pasta and rice dishes.
