Val do Galir Mencía - Red Wine

Val do Galir Mencía - Red Wine, from Virgen del Galir, is a red wine from the Valdeorras region that expresses the Atlantic character of Éntoma. Produced from a careful selection of Mencía and Mestura grapes from plots such as Valdemioto and Soutiño, it ferments with indigenous yeasts and ages lightly for 10 months in French and American oak barrels. The result is an aromatic, fresh and intense wine, true to the identity of the grape variety and the territory.

In the glass, it presents a cherry-red color with purple hues and good intensity. The aroma highlights the concentration of red fruits, especially redcurrant, evolving into spicy, fresh, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is round, with dense tannins, marked acidity, and a long finish, revealing a vibrant and balanced profile.

It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC to fully appreciate its aromatic expression and structure. At the table, it pairs particularly well with rice dishes, game meats, and chocolate preparations, thanks to its freshness and depth.
