Solaia - Red Wine

Solaia - Red Wine, by Marchesi Antinori, is a great Tuscan wine, produced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese grapes. Born in the sunniest area of the Tenuta Tignanello hillside, this wine establishes itself as an unmissable reference in Italian viticulture, the result of the Antinori family's passion, the rigor in selecting the grapes and a winery focused on elegance and precision.

It has a deep ruby-red color and an impressive aroma due to its complexity and finesse. Notes of raspberry, blackberry, and apricot stand out, enveloped by delicate floral hints of rose. Nuances of coffee, chocolate, and licorice also emerge, perfectly integrated with suggestions of mint and white pepper, which add freshness and a subtle spicy touch.

On the palate, it reveals itself as enveloping, harmonious and very balanced, with excellent structure and tannins that contribute to a dense and captivating texture. The finish is exceptionally long and pleasurable, with a persistence marked by toasted and spicy notes. Malolactic fermentation in small oak barrels and a minimum aging of 18 months in French oak reinforce its finesse. It is recommended to serve it between 16ºC and 18ºC. Ideal for special occasions, it pairs very well with red meats and poultry.
