Sandeman Vau Vintage 1999 - Port Wine is a Vintage Port and Douro wine that expresses the Sandeman style with depth, structure and great intensity. Produced from the 1999 harvest, it results from an approach that combines tradition and modernity, with fermentation in stainless steel vats and robotic lagares, prolonged maceration and fortification with grape brandy. After about two years of aging in oak vats, it was bottled in 2001 to continue its evolution in the bottle.

In the glass, it reveals a deep, opaque color, foreshadowing a concentrated aromatic profile. Notes of fresh red fruits, such as strawberry, and plum stand out, enveloped by balsamic and spicy hints that add complexity to the whole.
