Real de Asua Reserva - Red Wine

Real de Asua Reserva - Red Wine is a wine from CVNE, created in homage to the winery's founders, brothers Eusebio and Raimundo Real de Asúa, in 1994. Produced in the Rioja Alta region, from the Tempranillo grape variety, it originates from selected grapes from their own vineyards in Villalba. The 18-month aging in French oak barrels contributes to its aromatic depth and overall complexity.

In the glass, it presents a cherry-red color with bluish notes on the rim. The aroma reveals an intense and broad expression, with forest fruits and spices, where hints of clove, toffee, and smokiness emerge. On the palate, it shows a smooth entry, balanced tannins, good acidity, and a fresh and lingering finish with a long retronasal sensation. It is recommended to serve it at 18ºC. It is a versatile wine at the table, and can be enjoyed alone or paired with intensely flavored meats, and even some desserts.
