Quinta da Alorna Sauvignon Blanc - White Wine

Quinta da Alorna Sauvignon Blanc - White Wine is a white wine from the Tejo region, made exclusively from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. It presents a greenish-yellow color and an expressive aromatic profile, marked by tropical notes of pineapple, grapefruit and guava, in harmony with herbal hints that evoke asparagus and freshly cut grass. It is a wine that reveals freshness and vivacity, while maintaining elegance and balance.

In winemaking, the grapes are harvested manually at the ideal point of ripeness. After gentle pressing, the must is clarified and fermentation takes place at 16ºC, preserving the aromatic purity of the grape variety. A small percentage of the batch ferments in new American oak barrels, contributing to greater complexity and structure, without compromising the fresh and fruity character of the whole.

On the palate, it shows good minerality, ripe tropical fruit and a structured profile, with a long, persistent and flavorful finish. Due to its freshness and aromatic intensity, Quinta da Alorna Sauvignon Blanc - White Wine is an excellent choice to accompany seafood, especially bivalves, summer salads, or to be served as an aperitif.
