Pezas de Portela - White Wine

Pezas de Portela - White Wine is a white wine from Valdeorras, produced by Valdesil from the Godello grape variety. This wine pays homage to Portela, considered the origin of Godello, and is made exclusively from 11 pezas, or historical plots, located on the schist slopes of Portela, in Valdeorras, from a clone of the old Pedrouzos vineyard. The result is a village wine with a very distinct identity, which precisely expresses the origin and character of the territory.

It has a bright straw color. On the nose, it reveals citrus and white fruit notes. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity, unctuous and with good acidity, combining elegance and complexity. The 6 months of aging on lees in French oak, followed by 12 months in stainless steel tanks, contributes to its depth and the promise of good aging potential in the bottle.

It should be served between 9 and 12 ºC. It is an excellent option to accompany white meats, fish and vegetables.
