Petit Hipperia - Red Wine

Petit Hipperia - Red Wine, from Vallegarcía, is a contemporary red wine from the Pago de Vallegarcía region, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Syrah. Year after year, this wine expresses the unique character of each harvest, resulting in a singular combination of the different red grape varieties from the estate. It is the youngest wine of the house, but also one of the most carefully crafted, designed to be dynamic, true to the terroir, and appealing to different types of wine lovers.

It presents an intense cherry color with a violet rim. The aroma highlights notes of red fruit, spicy hints, and balsamic nuances. On the palate, it reveals itself as fresh and fruity, with good volume, balanced structure, and a long finish with a toasty touch, maintaining an easy-drinking profile. Fermentation and malolactic maceration take place in French oak barrels, followed by 12 months of aging, which contributes to its texture and complexity.

It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC. It is an excellent option to accompany rice dishes, roasted red meats, lamb, risotto, and vegetable dishes. Its image also deserves mention: the Petit Hipperia label is created by a different artist each time, always in homage to the horse, the winery's symbol.
