O Chao Vino Parcelario - White Wine

Chao Vino Parcelario - White Wine, from Valdesil, is a unique white wine from Valdeorras, made exclusively with the Godello grape variety from the "O Chao" plot, located in As Ermitas, in the municipality of O Bolo. This vineyard, planted in 1941 in granitic soils by D. Manuel Gayoso Díaz, gives the wine a very distinctive identity, marked by its plot origin and a strong connection to the territory.

It presents a bright golden-yellow color and a remarkable aromatic complexity, where mineral and citrus notes stand out, enveloped by subtle hints of aging on lees. On the palate, it reveals itself as creamy, with great body and an enveloping texture, balanced by a vibrant minerality that conveys elegance and depth. The finish is persistent, leaving a long and distinct impression.

Its production includes 6 months on the lees in French oak barrels, followed by 12 months in stainless steel tanks, contributing to its structure, complexity, and aging potential. It should be served between 10 and 12 ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany seafood, fish, white meats, cured cheeses, and traditional Galician dishes such as Galician-style octopus. A wine designed for connoisseurs of Godello with character, depth, and expression of origin.
