Moët & Chandon Brut Grand Vintage - Sparkling Wine is a champagne from the Champagne region, produced by Moët & Chandon, reflecting the personal interpretation of the harvest by the house's Cellar Master. The 2016 Grand Vintage was born from a year of turbulent weather, with a wet and cool winter, a rainy spring, and a dry summer. Despite these challenges, the grapes ripened well, with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier standing out. The blend comprises 48% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay, and 18% Pinot Meunier, aged for 6 years in the cellar.

It presents a pale and bright lemon-yellow color, with fine and persistent bubbles. On the nose, it reveals a delicate and vegetal bouquet, with notes of breadcrumbs, fresh brioche and almond paste, followed by elderflower, jasmine, watermelon and white peach. On the palate, it is straightforward and enveloping, with a generous and ample structure, floral, aniseed and mentholated nuances, and a persistent finish with a subtle almond bitterness.

With its radiant, round, and slender profile, it evokes a feeling of peace and serenity. It is recommended to serve it between 6ºC and 8ºC. It pairs very well with meats, fish, and vegetables with some consistency, and is especially interesting when the dish includes a slight bitter touch to enhance the fresh almond notes of the champagne.
