Marqués de Griñón Syrah Magnum Cartón - Red Wine

Marqués de Griñón Syrah Magnum Cartón - Red Wine is a single-varietal Syrah from Dominio de Valdepusa, produced by Marqués de Griñón. It originates from a pioneering Syrah vineyard planted in Spain in 1991, where the winery applies the modern Canopy Management system to promote balanced grape ripening and obtain silky tannins. The result is a powerful, aromatic and flavorful wine, very structured, true to the house style.

In the glass, it presents an intense, deep red color, typical of a wine with aging potential. The aroma reveals great complexity, combining ripe fruit with spicy, balsamic, and floral notes, with violets being particularly prominent. On the palate, it is powerful, balanced, and very expressive, with a silky texture, smooth acidity, and an abundance of ripe tannins, giving it a full-bodied and velvety character.

It should be served at around 16ºC to best express its character. At the table, it is an excellent choice to accompany roasts, duck, red meats and game dishes. The Magnum format presentation reinforces its gastronomic appeal and makes it especially suitable for sharing on special occasions.
