Marqués de Griñón Cabernet Sauvignon - Red Wine

Marqués de Griñón Cabernet Sauvignon - Red Wine is a benchmark red wine from Dominio de Valdepusa, made exclusively from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety. Originating from the oldest vineyard on the estate, planted in the early 1970s, it was a pioneering wine of this variety in Castilla-La Mancha, establishing itself through its strong personality, structure, and ability to evolve in the bottle.

It has a deep ruby-red color. The aroma reveals an intense profile of red forest fruits, enriched by notes of spices, cinnamon, tobacco, and chocolate. On the palate, it is structured and powerful, with a spicy profile and hints of ripe fruit, in a balanced and expressive whole.

The 12 to 15 months aging in new French Allier oak barrels contributes to the excellent ripeness of the fruit and the aromatic harmony of the wine. With an aging potential of 10 to 12 years, it is a very interesting choice for both current consumption and aging. It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC, especially pairing it with red meats, lamb, and cheeses.
