Imperial Gran Reserva - Red Wine

Imperial Gran Reserva - Red Wine, from CVNE, is a great classic of Rioja Alta and one of the most emblematic wines of Spain. Produced only in exceptional vintages, it originates from a selection of the estate's best vineyards, predominantly Tempranillo, complemented by Graciano and Mazuelo. Designed to evolve with time, it is a wine of noble, profound and elegant profile, true to the tradition of great aged Rioja wines.

It presents a burgundy red color, with cherry hues on the rim and high visual intensity. The aroma reveals great complexity, combining primary and tertiary notes that evoke forest fruits, licorice, and spices. On the palate, the entry is smooth and the finish is elegant, with soft tannins and a long retronasal persistence, marked by balsamic nuances. Its personality combines structure, balance, and distinction.

Aged for a minimum of 24 months in new French and American oak barrels, and with at least 36 months of bottle aging before reaching the market, this wine was conceived to last and gain expression over the years. It is recommended to serve it at 18ºC. It is an excellent accompaniment to red meats, game, oily fish, and aged cheeses.
