Horcajo - Red Wine

Horcajo - Red Wine is the top wine of Cepa 21, a red wine from Ribera del Duero made exclusively from Tempranillo. It originates from the Horcajo plot in Castrillo de Duero, a location with very unique characteristics that gives its name to this single-varietal wine with a very limited production of only about 1,500 bottles. It ages for 18 months in new French oak barrels, establishing itself as a wine designed for special occasions and with great aging potential.

It presents a very intense deep red color with ruby reflections. The aroma is elegant and complex, with a ripe base of dark fruit enriched by aging in wood. On the palate, it stands out for its balance and warm sensation, finishing with a long and persistent aftertaste. The combination of the Tempranillo expression, its Ribera del Duero origin, and barrel aging results in a distinct and profound profile.

It is recommended to serve it between 15 and 17 ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany roasted red meats, cheese boards and Iberian sausages.
