Evel - Red Wine

Evel - Red Wine, from Real Companhia Velha, is a red wine from the Douro region that expresses the character of one of Portugal's most emblematic wine regions. Produced from the Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca grape varieties, it reveals a balanced profile of fruit, structure and elegance, reflecting the classic identity of Port and Douro.

According to available information, this wine comes from vineyards located at Quinta do Casal da Granja and Quinta do Cidrô. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 8 months of aging in French oak barrels in Vila Nova de Gaia before bottling. This process contributes to a harmonious whole, where the freshness of the fruit is combined with subtle notes of wood.

In the glass, it presents a deep and brilliant ruby color. The aroma highlights notes of very ripe fruit, vegetal nuances typical of the region, and slight hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is round, with good structure and soft tannins, finishing with a fruity and persistent aftertaste. A versatile and appealing Douro wine, ideal to accompany meats, traditional dishes, and mealtimes.
