Description | Elalba - Rosé Wine
Elalba - Rosé Wine, by Emilio Moro, is the winery's first rosé and reveals a subtle, fresh, and elegant expression of Ribera del Duero. Produced from Tempranillo and Albillo Mayor grapes, harvested on the same day and worked together from the very beginning, it is born from a careful approach that seeks balance, precision, and identity. Fermentation takes place over 15 days at a temperature close to 18ºC, followed by aging in French oak barrels.
In the glass, it presents a delicate, very pale salmon-pink color. The aroma stands out for its good balance of subtlety and intensity, with notes of red fruit, such as strawberry and cherry, stone fruit, floral hints, and a mineral note that adds harmony and complexity without losing freshness. On the palate, it is light and balanced, with good persistence and a well-integrated, lively, and refreshing acidity. The result is a rosé with a fine profile but character, where the union of the two grape varieties gives rise to a fresh, subtle, complex, and elegant whole. It should be served between 8ºC and 11ºC and pairs well with fish, white meats, pasta, and rice dishes.
