DSF Colecção Privada Moscatel de Setúbal Armagnac - Fortified Wine is a unique creation from José Maria da Fonseca, in the Setúbal Peninsula. Made from the Moscatel Graúdo grape variety, it is part of the Colecção Privada, a project that highlights an authorial approach and the search for distinctive profiles within the fortified wines of the region.

In the glass, it reveals an attractive amber color. The aromatic profile highlights notes of orange, honey, lemon, cinnamon, and nuts, creating a rich and captivating whole. On the palate, it is very fruity, round, soft, and supple, with a harmonious texture and a very long finish, leaving a persistent and elegant sensation.

The winemaking process includes interrupting fermentation by adding brandy from the Armagnac region, a detail that marks the identity of this wine. After this, the wine remains in contact with the skins for 3 months and ages in used oak. The result is an expressive and complex fortified wine that combines the aromatic exuberance of Moscatel Graúdo with depth, sweetness, and balance.
