Crasto Superior - White Wine

Crasto Superior - White Wine, from Quinta do Crasto, is a white wine from the Porto and Douro region, made from the Viosinho and Verdelho grape varieties. Originating from the Douro Superior, it presents a fresh, balanced and very expressive profile, revealing well the character of its origin and the elegance of the grape varieties that shape it.

In the glass, it displays a lemon color with subtle golden reflections. The aroma features well-defined citrus notes, enveloped by light floral hints, in a harmonious and seductive ensemble. On the palate, it shows excellent volume, vibrant minerality, and a very well-integrated freshness, resulting in a precise, elegant wine with a persistent finish.

The winemaking process is based on a careful selection of the grapes upon arrival at the winery, followed by destemming and pressing. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks and finishes in French oak barrels for approximately 45 days at a controlled temperature. This process contributes to the wine's complexity and balance, while preserving its vivacity. A distinctive and gastronomic white wine that combines freshness, structure, and persistence.
