Description | Bassus Pinot Noir - Red Wine
Bassus Pinot Noir - Red Wine is a Hispano-Suizas red wine, produced in the Utiel-Requena region from the Pinot Noir grape variety. It presents a medium-intensity cherry-red color with violet reflections, immediately revealing an elegant and refined profile. The aroma shows great intensity, combining notes of French oak with ripe fruit, where cherry, cassis, and licorice stand out.
On the palate, it reveals itself as full-bodied and velvety, with a marked expression of ripe red fruit and a subtle toffee background, which gives it persistence and complexity. It is a delicate and harmonious wine, aged for a minimum of 10 months in new French oak barrels, an element that contributes to its depth and refinement. It is a particularly distinctive reference within the Pinot Noir wines of Utiel-Requena.
It should be served between 16 and 18 ºC. It pairs very well with semi-cured cheeses, oily fish, and roasted white or red meats.
